6 Things to Do Before You Turn 30

May 11th, 2007

1. Change your hair look and ask your friends which one makes you more prettier /hansom. Perhaps you frequently read the major fashion magazines, stare intently at celebrities latest hair styles and wonder whether now is the time to shear several inches-or more-from your current cut. Do it before you loose your hair.

2. Go travel by yourself to your favorite place alone, before you have to share your time with your family. The great thing about going by yourself is you get to take your dream trip, not someone else’s. And all of your fears about things like solo dining aren’t as big a deal as you think. Traveling alone can open you up to unique personal experiences in new places.

3. Making friends is not always easy. Particularly if you are introverted ; let’s face it, not all of us were born with a natural ability for social grace. Make a lot of friends and remember their names and address. Everybody likes attention (even the shy ones). Pay a little attention to people, and they’ll repay you warmly. It doesn’t take much. You will be lucky if one of them is the next Bill Gates.

Interracial Dating And Relationship

April 13th, 2007

by john waltzer

Is interracial dating looked down upon? Well it all depends upon the culture and society, which harbors the persons dating each other from ethnically diverse background. I think the major boiling pot is dating between Caucasian Whites and Afro-American Blacks. In closed pockets that harbor racism ideology, interracial dating certainly would be discouraged not only between Black and White even between persons of other diverse background. But believers of white supremacy are intolerant to any kind of racial integration which their puritanical ideology prohibits. ‘Klu Klux Klan’ a living example of racial discrimination based on puritanical ideology of white supremacy. Racial discrimination often borders on the level of hate as seen in South Africa.

Can I get him to be more romantic?

February 28th, 2007

1.Let him know how important romance is to you, but don’t whine—guys hate that. Instead, when he does something thoughtful, show him how much you love it.

2.Be specific about what you want. I know it doesn’t sound very romantic, but his ideas may be a far cry from yours. Roses and candlelight, for instance, would crack me up. I want long back rubs and calls in the middle of the day just to say ‘I love you.’

3.Learn the art of the deal. Ask your husband to plan one romantic evening a month—and give him suggestions. In return, you agree to go golfing—not my favorite thing—once a month.

What to do when both guys like you

February 7th, 2007

Some girls would kill for a problem like this. They’d give anything for one guy, any guy, and there you are, try ing to juggle two! But just because you’re in an enviable position doesn’t mean it’s an easy situation to deal with. If you’ve been there, you know: Dating two guys can mean double trouble!
Maybe you’re out with one guy, and you run into the other. Or one guy shows up at your doorstep just as the other one is on his way out. Or how about one TEEN reader who’s dating two guys named Jeff! “One spells his name ‘G-E-O-F-F,’ so that makes it a little easier. But when my mom says, ‘Jeff’s on the phone,’ I never know which one I’m going to be talking to!”
So, is it possible to date two guys without feeling like a two-timer? Absolutely! There’s no rule regarding the number of guys a girl can go out with. As long as she doesn’t lead them on or intentionally try to make them jealous, it’s OK to “date around.” (Of course, it’s NOT a good idea to “sleep around” or get physically involved with lots of guys. In addition to the risks of getting pregnant or contracting an STD, a girl who sleeps around may also suffer from emotional wounds that can be difficult—if not impossible—to heal.) If you’re dating two guys, and you’re feeling pressure to choose one, try to figure out where that pressure is coming from.

1. Is it coming from a friend? if so, she may not be the best person for you to discuss your dilemma with. Perhaps she’s jealous, or perhaps her views on dating just don’t jibe with yours.

2. Is it coming from the guys?
Again, as long as you’re honest with them and let them know where they stand, they can either respect your decision NOT to make a decision—or move on.

3. Is it coming from you?
if you feel that you’re truly a one-guy kind of girl, do some serious soul searching. Write down why you’re attracted to each guy. If anything bugs you about them, write those things down, too. See if one guy comes out on top. If it’s still a “tie,” or if you don’t feel strongly swayed either way, then it’s possible that NEITHER guy is Mr. Right. And if that’s the case, then you’d be wise to double your efforts to hang on to your single status!
