I don’t really want a break-up

Whenever we quarrel, I always threaten to break up with my boyfriend, but I don’t really want a break-up

answer:
Never make a threat if you can’t follow through on it. If it’s a knee-jerk reaction, it’s time to learn some self-control.

Find your cooling zone
It’s hard to have a real conversation when you’re steaming mad. Sleep it off and you’ll be in a better state of mind to discuss things tomorrow.

Address the Issues
You should know what you can let go and what you can’t compromise on. Enter the talk with some idea of what resolution would satisfy you.

Involve him
Both parties have to make an effort. While you learn to bring your emotions under control, he has to avoid repeating the same mistakes that set you off. If he continues to spend too much time with his buddies, then it’s only a matter of time before history repeats itself.
