Flirt girls with dog
My husband and I recently bought a puppy and we both love him to bits. Since his work schedule is more flexible than mine, my hubby volunteered to walk the dog every day. I thought this was an excellent idea, of course. Until our network at the office crashed one day and we were all told to go home early. So I excitedly headed for the park to join my husband and our dog. Imagine my surprise when all these women — some of whom didn’t even have dogs — came bounding over to pet the puppy, who they knew by name. Do you think my husband has been using him as a pretext to flirt with pretty girls?
answer:
No, and before you put them both on a short leash it’s probably more a case that your dog was using your husband to flirt with the girls. As you well know from your recent purchase, a puppy is damn near irresistible and your husband happens to merely be in the right place at the right time. Chances are he didn’t plan for all that attention. And so what if he’s lapping it up? If you suspect he’s going to visit someone else’s kennel as a result, you’ve got bigger problems than just who’s walking the dog. Anyway, as is always the case, puppies grow into dogs and someone younger and cuter is going to lope into the park any day now. Your man and dog won’t be the star attractions for long.
