What can I do to make sure that our relationship will last?
I’ve been in a long-distance relationship for over two years now. We see each other once every two or three months. The problem is I still do not believe in his loyalty and always think that he might be with someone new. He’s got a great job in the city while I’m only a small-town girl. I really do love him. What can I do to make sure that our relationship will last?
answer:
You say how you feel, but not how he feels. Do you know? Have you actually asked him? Does he realize how much this relationship means to you? If it’s been going on for as long for two years then that does suggest it’s serious. But on the other hand, if you’re worried about what he’s up to when he’s not with you which, let’s be honest, is an awful lot of the time, then it doesn’t seem that you have much confidence in him. Does it? Why not? Do you have reason to suspect him of not being loyal? I’m afraid the only way you’ll find out is to ask him and try to get it sorted. Good luck.
