Allergic to deodorants

I am allergic to deodorants. Every time I apply them, I get rashes. What causes this problem and are there other alternatives to deodorant?

answer:
With deodorants, there are two things you could be allergic to. One is the chemical compounds used in the making of the deodorant and the other is the fragrance. While you may be using deodorants with ingredients from natural plant derivatives, bear in mind that even organic products can cause allergic reactions, for instance, clove oil and cinnamon oil. You could try a fragrance-free variant of deodorant (if you haven’t already tried that) which is the more economical option or you could spend a bit more on a natural crystal deodorant that is completely chemical-free, fragrance-free and is hypoallergic. You should be able to find them both at pharmacies.
