Pain in heal
I’ve got a pain in my heal that has been there several days and its really hurting to put pressure on it I am on concrete floors all day with sneakers and was wondering if that has anything to do with it if i stay off it for a day or two it seems to lighten up some any help.
answer:
Most likely this is Plantar Fasciitis. It can be a real pain.
It is hard to feel good if your feet hurt!
Ice, rest, foot rollers or Reflexology and the right inserts are your best bet. I had it last year, and it went away after I used the foot roller quite a bit.
Wear thick socks and good cushioned shoes. Change into a different pair of socks and shoes at lunch time…this gives your arches a break. Good shoes are worth the investment. Use gel in soles.
When you get home, lay down inverted, with you feet well above your head for about half and hour.
Take a warm bath and massage your toes, feet angles, calves and knees. Walk around barefooted or just in socks at home.
There are infrared heat/massager’s for feet that would help you a lot.
Drink lots of water, it makes your muscles work better. Prop your feet up when sitting down as often as possible.
I used to do trade show work and have to walk on concrete all day long and my feet hurt all the way up to my knees!
Use a massage oil or analgesic like icy hot to rub your feet and legs with.
