She’s become really clingy

I met a friend through work who’s younger than me. At first we got on really well but now she’s become really clingy. How do I shake her off?

answer:
Cling-ons are difficult to spot. On the outside they look quite normal, but inside they’re a seething mass of insecurities and don’t want to let you out of their sight. They’re persistent buggers so you’ll need to be tough - but that doesn’t mean you should be unkind. Let her know you like her but you’re very busy and have trouble fitting everyone in. say you’ll call her when you’re free. Provided you keep your side of the deal and don’t fully ditch her, she should back off.
