Is it hygienic not to have hair down there?
My friend tells me that she gets a Brazilian wax because it’s more hygienic not to have hair down there. I don’t wax, is that unhygienic?

We’re all born with hair “down there” and the hair does serve the function of catching bacteria before it enters our bodies. It’s not unhygienic to have pubic hair. You will only be dirty if you don’t take care to keep yourself clean. Whether or not to shave or wax your pubic area is a personal choice. Some people prefer it especially if they wear brief swimsuits or bikinis a lot. There are also those who prefer not to have it there to facilitate oral sex. Others don’t mind it during oral sex at all. Whether or not to shave or wax is a choice you need to make for yourself. If you do decide to shave or wax, take care because the skin in this area is very sensitive.
