I’m afraid that I’ll hurt my partner

I like having sex with me on top and I tend to be quite “enthusiastic”. I’m afraid that I’ll hurt my partner, although I haven’t done so. Is it possible to break a penis?

answer:
Yes it is possible but it’s highly unlikely that this will happen. Although the penis doesn’t have a bone and comprise spongy tissue, it is possible to break it while it’s erect. When stimulated, the spongy tissue fills with blood, leading to a longer, bigger and stiffer penis. Although it feels hard, it pays to remember that the organ is still just flesh and blood. A penis can be broken if an erect member is thrust against a hard or inflexible object with great force such as the headboard of the bed or the pubic bone of a woman, causing a crucial membrane within the penis to tear. Whenever you have sexual intercourse, whether you’re on top or he is, temper the amount of force used, not your enthusiasm. That said, this kind of injury is rare so don’t let it preoccupy your mind and affect your lovemaking sessions.
