Can I get pregnant with condoms?

Whenever my boyfriend and I have sex, I get paranoid about getting pregnant although he uses a condom. Can I get pregnant with condoms? Also, what will unprotected oral sex lead to?

answer:
There is a very small risk that a condom may fail. To ensure that you minimise risk, it is advisable that you use condoms manufactured by established companies. I know people who buy cheap condoms and suffer the consequences. Some even put on two condoms believing that this will reduce the risk of pregnancy. This is not true. I advise the male to use a condom as protection but if your fear of pregnancy is serious then consult your doctor about oral contraceptives. Be sure to discuss the side effects of the drug. Different people react in different ways to drugs and it is crucial that you understand this to avoid unnecessary difficulties. Oral sex is a very intimate process. Even if partners are totally faithful there is still a risk of contracting infections if one partner is unclean or infected. Only experience and time with one’s partner can establish this aspect. Unprotected sex or oral sex is dangerous if multiple partners are involved. If you suspect that your partner has other sexual partners it is not advisable to have intercourse or oral sex without protection. If you and your partner are clean and faithful to one another then there is nothing you have to worry about.
