When I was in college, a classmate had a crush on me but I didn’t feel the same. I’ve had a talk with him but he can’t accept it. It’s been four years and he still keeps texting me! I now have a boyfriend and he has his own girlfriend too. Why won’t he leave me alone? All four of us work for the same company and I’m tired of changing my cell phone number. Talking isn’t working because he is afraid to even look at me! What do I do?

He won’t take no for an answer even though you have a boyfriend and he has a girlfriend? He clearly has an obsession with you. Tell him no means no and he’s to keep away from you. Make yourself absolutely clear that you want nothing to do with him and get witnesses so that he can be in no doubt. And be very careful to offer him no encouragement whatsoever. Not even friendship. Blank him. Have nothing to do with him and don’t reply to his texts - just delete them. Or keep your phone switched off for a bit. If things don’t improve, threaten to report him to the police.
