What causes pimples near my vagina and how do I know if it’s serious?

I have been getting pimples near my vagina. Usually, it’ll swell and subside by itself, but weeks later it’ll come back! What causes these pimples and how do I know if it’s serious?

answer:
Skin, whether on your face or genitals, is the same. From rashes to allergic reactions to abrasions and pimples, genital skin is subject to all the conditions that skin elsewhere is. As such, you can get pimples around your vagina for the same reasons you might get pimples elsewhere. You can help them clear up by washing twice daily with salty water. Then, pat skin dry with a clean towel and wear cotton panties to reduce sweating. However, it is possible for pimples in the genital area to get infected due to the abundance of bacteria there. It’s best to see your doctor who can prescribe a topical medication or an antibiotic. Vaginal pimples are usually a cluster of small fluid-filled blisters that break, forming painful sores that crust and heal over the course of several days. However, if you notice an acne-like condition that have indentions in their centres, suffer from painful urination or abnormal fluid discharge, consult with your doctor immediately.
