She’s too sensitive about me having other friends
I’ve had a best friend for two years, but the problem is she’s too sensitive about me having other friends! Whenever she sees me with them, she tells me she’s afraid she’ll lose my friendship. This makes me uncomfortable. I’m a quiet girl who doesn’t say much, but she thinks I’m ignoring her. What do I do?

One friend is never enough, no matter how good a friend she might be. Suppose she. gets married one day or moves to another state? Her priorities could change very suddenly and then where would you be? Explain this to her. Tell her she matters to you very much but you need more than one friend and it is not fair if she expects you to give her all of your time. Reassure her that your having other friends doesn’t mean she’s going to lose you and encourage her to make other friends too.
