My husband’s sperm won’t stay inside me

I’m planning to have a baby but I’m facing a problem. My husband’s sperm won’t stay inside me. After we make love, it’ll flow out. I’m so worried. Is there a way to make love that’ll ensure the it won’t come out?

answer:
Basically you have, externally, the labia and vaginal opening. This chamber leads to the cervical opening of the uterus which is connected to the Fallopian tubes. These tubes transport eggs from your ovaries to the uterus. Before you become pregnant, fertilisation must occur, so sperm must reach your mature egg. When your husband ejaculates inside you, millions of sperm are deposited into your vagina. Millions also leak out almost immediately. Sperm then have to make their way to the egg. After battling many natural hazards in your body, there are a few thousand (a highly variable figure) that reach the tube to fertilise your egg. Your chances of conceiving are really quite good! I know of people who tried to keep the sperm inside by doing shoulder stands. You need not resort to this. But know this: The chances of more sperm making it through the cervical opening is increased if the cervix is surrounded with sperm. To aid this, remain on your back after ejaculation for while. You don’t need to do this for long as sperm are extremely active and dying to get in. In trying to get pregnant there are other issues to consider as well: Timing i.e. when intercourse occurs in relation to your ovulation. Please consult your gynae for details.
