I want him to get in shape
My fiance and I are getting married soon and I want him to get in shape. Since we’ve been together, he’s started to pack on the pounds. Like many brides, I’ve been watching what I eat and working out more with the aim of looking my best in the photos. Is there a way that I can prod him into doing likewise?
answer:
As much as you rationalise it that you’re only doing this for his health and justify your actions on the grounds that you (hopefully) only have your wedding once, I think you need to take a step back and give yourself a reality check. What’s happening here is that you’re focusing on the wedding when it should be on the marriage. If the only problems you have with the man you’re going to spend the rest of your life with is that he doesn’t exercise as often as he should and needs to cut down on junk food, count yourself lucky and stop stressing out about your wedding photos. All your hard work will undoubtedly pay off and you will be a radiant bride. As for him, you’ll be surprised how many dough nuts a well-tailored dark suit can hide.
