His comedy relies on sarcasm and taking the piss out of people and their taste

My husband has a great sense of humor. He’s dry, acerbic and can make most people laugh. But his comedy relies on sarcasm and taking the piss out of people and their taste. It’s almost kinda nasty but still hilarious. Lately I’ve noticed that he constantly looks for negatives and uses them to joke about. I can’t help wondering if I should tell him to perhaps try to be a bit more positive.

answer:
Is there a chance that he might have always been this way but you’re just starting to notice it now? If this is so and no one is being hurt by his comments, you risk alienating him with your new halo - which is how he’ll probably see things. Conscience is a difficult thing to prick in a man, you may come across as being a little pain. Is his negativity annoying you so much that you’d risk the relationship or have you grown in such a way that you can’t see yourself with such a man? This is the crucial question to answer. If it’s a case of the latter, be sure to give him the chance to change before assuming that he won’t.
