I am in love but he just wants sex
I recently became physical with a friend who I’ve fallen in love with. He made it very clear from the start that it’s just sex - no emotional attachment or commitment. I went into it knowing this because I love him and I have no intention of fessing up because I’m not ready to lose him as a friend. Have I got myself into a mess?

You might be in a bit of a mess, yes. For sure you are not getting what you want out of this relationship. Well, are you? You are in love but he just wants sex. Ask yourself clearly now - does that sound like a recipe for happiness? I don’t think so and neither, I suspect, do you! You could stay with him and take whatever few crumbs he kindly lets drop onto your head, or you could face the truth, cut your losses and find someone who wants you as much as you want him! Ultimately, it’s up to you but please don’t ever expect this man to make you happy. He won’t!
