I’m serious about him, but he won’t meet my family
I’ve been seeing a guy for three months and I’m serious about him, but he won’t meet my family - how do I get him to do this as it is important to me?
Answer:
For a man, meeting the folks is a prime indicator that he is in a full-blown serious relationship. And the transition from a three-month infatuated flirtation may just be a little too much for him. Alternatively, he may have a habit of making disastrous first impressions with parents and is anxious to avoid a repeat performance. Short story: Ask him why he won’t be introduced to mum and dad. If he says he didn’t think the relationship was serious enough to warrant it, at least you know where you stand.
