De-stress with a pet
If you’ve got a cat or dog, you’ll know how good you feel after a cuddle, but did you know that owning a pet is actually healthy for you? Studies show that owning a pet reduces stress and anxiety, helps build empathy and respect for others, and improves family life. But, before you rush out to get a kitten or puppy, think about what you have to give to the animal, Pets are a big responsibility and to be a good “parent” you’ll need lots of:
TIME-To feed it, walk it, bath it and clean up after it.
SPACE-A yard, fences, and room for it to play.
MONEY-To buy food and pay the vet bills.
LOVE-Pets need love and affection to stay happy.
