Bad Company
It started with her doing her laundry at my place. Now she’s having packages delivered to my doorman and using all my stuff (why did I give her a key?)! What to do?
Answer:
Helping a friend in need is one thing. Being forced to supply er with modern conveniences is exploitation. Then again, share and share alike is the code of friendship. Keep that in mind while you try my patented “me, too” strategy. The next time she arrives with a load of dirty linen, say, “While you’re waiting for your clothes, can you go to the store and pick up a few tings for me?”
What’s a few errands-or rinse cycles-between friends? If she balks, then you’ll know she’s user. So wash her right out of your life.
