I hide my body

For some reason, I’m embarrassed about my body. Even though I have curves and I’m thinner than a lot of girls my age and my friends say I have a nice body, I always wear big, baggy shirts and pants. Every once in a while, I’ll wear a tight shirt (like a bodysuit), but only on the weekends. A lot of people think I’m fat, but I’m not! Why do I do this?

answer:
There s nothing wrong with not wanting to show off your body. In fact, I think there are times in your life when you’re just more modest than others, and it doesn’t necessarily have anything to do with how you look or your self-esteem. You may just be at a stage when you feel really self-conscious about people looking at you.
If you’re not comfortable in clothes that outline your body, it makes sense to keep yourself under wraps for a while, even if your friends think it’s strange. I definitely don’t think you need to worry about it, especially since you’re not phobic about how you look. There’s nothing wrong with dressing to feel good, whatever that means for you.
