I’M ALWAYS APOLOGISING

When my best friend and I fight, I always do the apologising, even when I’m not at fault. She holds grudges against me, and uses them to tear me down next time we have a fight It really hurts me when she’s like that What should I do?

answer:
Talking with your friend about how she hurts you is an important first step in helping you decide whether this friendship is worth the price. She may not realise how her behaviour is affecting you, If you can make clear to her what you need in a friendship, and what you offer her as a friend, it may help her decide if she wants you as a friend, or if she sees you as someone to push around. It may be that you are more mature than your iriend at this point, and more able to manage a real friendship.
